What: Fall Festival
When: Saturday and Sunday, October 6-7
Time: 12:00 - 4:00pm
Where: Kensington Metropark - Farm Center
Cost: Free, plus cost of admission to the park
Visit
the farm animals and get a glimpse of farm life at the festival with
special demonstrations. There will be apple cider making and beekeeping.
See Jed the Bug Man’s butterflies, moths and other insects, and watch
Storm, a white German shepherd service dog, as he amazes the crowd with
his skills. Laugh along with Rosco the Clown’s antics, and take a walk
to the Kids’ Cottage, an all-natural building made of compressed earthen
blocks and straw bales and explore the nearby corn maze. There will
also be horse-drawn hayrides to the pumpkin patch for a small fee.
