The Wixom Founders Day Festival (5/20)

What: Founders Day Festival / Chili Cook-off
When: Sunday, May 20th
Time: 1:00 - 4:00pm
Where:  Gibson Park on Pontiac Trail
Cost:  Free for all  festivities! ($20 per team for chili cook-off)

The Annual Founder's Day Festival will be on Sunday, May 20th!  Get a peek at what Wixom was like a long time ago!  Activities will include a Chili Cook-off, Antique Car display, Truck & Tractor show, entertainment, activities and displays for all ages!  A fun blast from the past- you don't want to miss it!

Also, the 11th Annual Wixom Roundup Chili Cook-off will be held during the Founders Day Festival! Slice & dice and cook onsite. Rip Roarin’ Good Time! The public will judge  your samplings. Goldmine of prizes for the best chili, best dressed and best presentation. Entry fee is $20 per  team. Call Parks & Rec at 248-624-2850 or check online www.wixomgov.org for registration & rules form.  You may also register your team online.  Deadline to register is 5/17!

  • Little Local Artists Display by Sarah Banks Middle School & Loon Lake Elementary Students
