Cost: Free (donations will be accepted for the Focus: HOPE Food Pantry in Detroit)

The Walled Lake School District invites you to a 13th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration!  The event will be held on Monday, January 16th at Walled Lake Northern High School.  The schedule will be as follows:
  • 5-6pm Multicultural Dinner - Ethnic Food from around the world prepared by local restaurants.
  • 5-6:30pm - Tour student exhibits.
  • 6:30-8:30pm - Program featuring keynote speaker Stephen Clark from Chanel 7 WXYZ-TV on this year's theme of "Partnering with Detroit 2020 to Inspire, Act and Unify." Presentation of Walled Lake Schools Friend of Diversity Awards.  Performances by student choirs.
This is a free event, but guests are invited to bring donations of canned food for the Focus: HOPE Food Pantry in Detroit.  For more information, please call Alec Binder, principal at Wixom Elementary at (248) 956-3432.
