The Commerce Township Fire Department is hosting their annual Fire Prevention Open House next Sunday, October 2nd starting at noon. There will be fire safety tips from the firefighters, a vehicle extraction demonstration and your kids can crawl to safety through a smoke controlled environment. Firetrucks and a Haz Mat Truck will be on display and the kids can even take home their own free fire helmet! There will also be hotdogs on sale for $1.
Parking will be across the street at Walled Lake Central High School in the North parking lot. The staff will assist in safely crossing the street to the Richardson Center.
