Wixom Library: Fall Into Reading Programs

The "Fall into Reading" programs will be starting up soon for kids of all ages. Make sure to register your children beginning September 19th to secure a spot: call 248-624-2512.

Here are all the programs the library is offering:

Baby Days - circle time storytelling
Who: Children up to 24 months w/parent
When: Mondays (October 10, 17 & 24)
Time: 10:00am

Mommy & Me - listen to stories, make a craft & sing songs
Who: 2 years old w/parent
When: Thursdays (October 6, 13, 20 & 27)
Time: 10:00am

Preschool Storytime - listen to stories, make a craft & sing songs
Who: ages 3, 4 & 5 (not yet in Kindergarten)
When: Tuesdays (October 4, 11, 18 & 25)
Time: 10:00am

Fantastic Fridays
Who: ages 2-6

Time: 10:30am
  • Alphabetically Speaking: Friday (10/14)
  • Animal Fair: Friday (11/4)
  • Snail Mail: Friday (12/2)

Three Terrific Thursdays: You Gotta Have Art - Storytime & exploring different forms of art techniques
Who: grades K-2
When: October 6, November 3 and December 1
Time: 6:30-7:15pm

Spectacular Saturdays
Who: ages 2-10

  • A Special Kick-Off: Saturday (10/1) - Author Alexander McNeece reads his book "Read to me Daddy!  My First Football Book"
  • Annual Halloween Happening: Saturday (10/29) - Wear your costumes for Trick-or-treating through the library, face-painting, cider and donuts, crafts and special Guest: The Balloon Meister.
  • The Music Lady: Saturday (11/19)  - Join us for a Sing-a-long!
  • Holiday Workshop: Present Making: Saturday (12/10) 

Fall Book Club: It's a Mystery - Eat some pizza and discuss your favorite mystery book (choose any)
Who: Grades 3-5
When: Thursday, November 17th
Time: 6:30pm

New Years Dance Party - Celebrate the New Year with snacks, party hats, noise makers, dancing and more!
Who: Children of all ages
When: Wednesday, December 28th
Time: 2:00-3:00pm
